Professor B.N. Mohanty brings with him about 39 years of rich experience in hotel operations, hotel training and heading hotel management institutes. After working for about 31 years in ITDC, including positions of General Manager in their hotels in Bhubaneshawar and Puri and Senior manager (Training) in Manpower Development Centre in New Delhi, his passion for academics prompted him to make the permanent switch to hotel management education.
He served as Principalin two institute of Hotel Management in Kerala and New Delhi. He is an alumnus of Institute of Hotel Management, Pusa and a graduate from Utkal University. He has undergone training in Cornell University (U.S.) and department of Management Studies leads university (U.K.). The institute has taken off in a big way under his stewardship.
